Bryan's Famous Chicken Tacos

These tacos will be a guaranteed crowd pleaser at your next taco night! This chicken taco recipe is best served in a tortilla or bowl with your preferred taco ingredients.

To make these mouth-watering tacos, you will need:

  • Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 5 tbsp of Adobo Sauce
  • 1 tbsp of Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp of Cumin
  • 1 tsp of Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp of Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp of Salt
  • 2 tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Medium Red Onion (Diced)
  • 3 Garlic Cloves (Minced or Whole)
  • 1/4 cup of Water


  1. Add adobo sauce, chili powder, cumin, dried oregano, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and garlic into a blender.
  2. Dice 1/2 of a medium red onion and add it to the blender.
  3. Blend the ingredients well.
  4. Add 1/4 cup of water and blend again.
  5. Place in a ziplock bag or other container used for marinating. Place in refrigerator.
  6. Clean chicken thighs.
  7. Place chicken thighs into the container or bag used for marinating.
  8. Allow the chicken to marinate for 4-8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. 
  9. Grill chicken between 450-550 degrees Fahrenheit until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (should be ~4-6 minutes on each side)
  10. Serve chicken in a tortilla or bowl with your preferred taco ingredients and ENJOY!
