Bryan's Famous Chicken Tacos
These tacos will be a guaranteed crowd pleaser at your next taco night! This chicken taco recipe is best served in a tortilla or bowl with your preferred taco ingredients.
To make these mouth-watering tacos, you will need:
- Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 5 tbsp of Adobo Sauce
- 1 tbsp of Chili Powder
- 1 tsp of Cumin
- 1 tsp of Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp of Black Pepper
- 2 tsp of Salt
- 2 tbsp of Olive Oil
- 1/2 Medium Red Onion (Diced)
- 3 Garlic Cloves (Minced or Whole)
- 1/4 cup of Water
Directions:
- Add adobo sauce, chili powder, cumin, dried oregano, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and garlic into a blender.
- Dice 1/2 of a medium red onion and add it to the blender.
- Blend the ingredients well.
- Add 1/4 cup of water and blend again.
- Place in a ziplock bag or other container used for marinating. Place in refrigerator.
- Clean chicken thighs.
- Place chicken thighs into the container or bag used for marinating.
- Allow the chicken to marinate for 4-8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Grill chicken between 450-550 degrees Fahrenheit until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (should be ~4-6 minutes on each side)
- Serve chicken in a tortilla or bowl with your preferred taco ingredients and ENJOY!
